According to the first completed Canon of Scripture at the Council of Carthage in AD 419, the apocryphal books were adopted as biblical. http://www.ccel.org/ccel/schaff/npnf214.xv.iv.iv.xxv.html Why do not the protestant Churches consider them scriptural? Most contemporary Bibles exclude the apocryphal books but even the original King James Version included them. Are they any less inspired than the other books of the Bible?

Erick ,

My statement to you was to point out why The Earl Church Fathers rejected some books and kept others because they tried ...to find fault with... The Jewish Books.

My position is that all of The Books of The Ancient Jews have some value in discovery and tracing the concepts found in our Faith back to what G-d has said in the Older deleted Books of The Ancient Jews, as well as some of The Early Church Leadership(Fathers) as well.

My point is nothing should be deleted just because it doesn't fit in with our understanding very well.
