Re: Peace, grace and love of God

Hi Dedesmond,

Peace, grace and love of God' be unto you all.

and to you.

Talking about infant baptism,
what about, some of those protestant churches that does't buy the idea of infant baptism rather dedication before baptism.
For about four i've been a member of a pentecostal church in my country.
The doctrine of this church towards baptism is that!
A baby should not be rush in to baptism withou knowing meaning of baptism. The child will only be dedicated and allow to grow physically and in spirit before baptizing. Because it is only ance.

All the more reason to Baptize. After all, whether you baptize the infant or not, he will still have a choice to make whether he will follow Christ or not.

SinceThe baptism of Jesus was not on His early age.
so, it is what one need to agree in his/her heart, that he/she is prepared to run the race to end.

Yet baptism replaced circumcision. And Jesus was circumsized as an infant of 8 days.

Can a child dedication, quarante a save place for that child when he/she die prematurely before baptism.

We hope in God's mercy. Although Scripture says that one must be baptized, we can't imagine the innocent babe being condemned to eternal hell.
