What is Apostolic Succession?

I'm pleased my comment led you to discover that there are "multiple" catholic churches. Note, the little "c". There is a difference among little c catholic churches and the big one which uses capital C. For example, in saying the creed in the Episcopal service, the words are "... believe in the Holy catholic Church." The explanation offered is that the use of the word, catholic, means universal and not associated with the Holy Catholic Church of Rome. I believe in the earliest years of the Christian church, it was referred to as the "Holy Christian Church" and the Romans changed it to ...Catholic... to declare that the Roman Church was THE universal Christian church.
I won't speak to your discovery in Wike about succession until I dig out an example of a list actually used by a reformed catholic church.
Peace,
Bill
